I repaired/customized my electric violin, it sounds more beautiful ｄ(￣◇￣)ｂ

My electric violin's pick up had become no electric sound from the strings.

I tried to attach a piezo pick up mike to a bridge.

Fig.3.0. Case 1, a pick up is set on bridge's front side.

Fig.3.1. Case 2, a pick up is set on bridge's back side.

The sounds are coming from the both,

(a) from the air vibrations by the strings to the pick up of the bridge,

(b) from the strings to the bridge's vibrations to hit the pick up.

Whether (a) can be considered for reverb or not is (1) below, whether (a) should directly hit the bridge or not is (2).

Fig.3.2:

In case of fig.3.0 (fig.3.2's upper figure), there was not reverb but indistinct sounds.

The sounds of fig.3.1 (fig.3.2's lower figure) was very good.

The sounds have been regained and become more beautiful, because ...

Fig.4.1. I shaved off the top of the bridge to make the pick-up mike closer to the strings.

... the new bridge vibrate more freely, i.e. released from the flat pick up, and the piezo pick up mike is nearer to the strings. And the strings have been tuned for base-√3 sounds.

It sounds more beautiful ｄ(￣◇￣)ｂ with my effectors.

I've repaired my electric violin with $3.8.

I used a piezo pick up mike not to the acoustic body, but attached to a violin's bridge.
